DescriptionVegetarian food is getting more and more popular. But where to start? What to cook? And how to make the whole family want to taste? Very Veggie is no longer just a bestselling cookbook in paper form. In this app we have collected recipes, photos and tips from our books for you to enjoy.
The first version of the app contains 88 recipes from the books. We’ll keep adding new recipes to the best of our abilities until they’re all available in convenient app form. If you’ve bought the app you’ll automatically get new recipes as they become available.
About half of the recipes in this app are lacto-ovo-vegatarian, meaning they contain dairy products and egg, and the rest are entirely vegan. Most recipes can be made vegan using our vegan-friendly tips in the beginning of the recipes.
Very Veggie is made by Sara Ask (author, food writer and pediatric dietitian) and Lisa Bjärbo (author). Our starting point when creating the recipes was everyday family life – where good, tasty food should be cooked, even when time is scarce and you don’t feel the urge to search the city for rare specialty ingredients.
You wont need to be Superman to follow our recipes. Being yourself will do.
