Alfred is an AI-powered app that fixes photos you take in unideal lighting conditions. You probably have a lot of photos in your smartphone where the faces are barely visible or the background is just a white blur. Usually this is caused by shadows, low lighting, sun in the background, light streaming in from a window, etc. Alfred fixes these photos like a pro by imitating artificial light and adjusting the color temperature and light intensity in harshly lit areas. Every photo you take will turn out better with Alfred.

How was Alfred trained to fix photos the same way that a pro does manually?

1) We started by taking 100,000 RAW photos in different lighting conditions and places
2) Then we analyzed all types of problematic (harsh) lighting conditions and situations
3) Our team of pro photographers processed all these photos manually using local adjustments.
Local adjustments imitate artificial light and balance the color temperature of every picture
4) Using this professionally-adjusted content, we trained a neural network to balance the color temperature and light the same way.
