Sahada kurulu P-Dalgası istasyon ağı ile Marmara Bölgesi için bir deprem olduğunda erken uyarı alarmı verebilen TEK uygulamadır.

HAKKIMIZDA:
2017 yılında, Yeditepe Üniversitesi Teknoloji Transfer Ofisinin düzenlediği “7Tepe, Yeni Fikir” yarışmasında ödül kazanmış, Deprem erken uyarı uygulaması olarak Dünya’da Japonya, Amerika, Meksika’dan sonra Türkiye’deki ilk akıllı telefon uygulamasıdır.

ÇALIŞMA PRENSİBİ:
Bir deprem olduğunda, suya atılan taş gibi P (öncül) ve S (Artçıl) dalgalar oluşur. Mudanya-Çınarcık-Adalar-B.Çekmece-Tekirdağ-Şarköy hattı boyunca kurulan sensor istasyonlarından en az ikisi ile P-dalgası algılandığında telefonunuza alarm uyarısı ulaştırılır.

ALARM EŞİĞİ:
Algoritmalarımızın tehlike arz etmediğini değerlendirdiği depremlerde gereksiz paniğe neden olmamak için alarm tetiklenmez.
Deprem merkez üssü değil, P-Dalgası sensörlerinin bulunduğu lokasyonda VI şiddetine karşılık gelen, 5,1 Magnitude ve üzeri büyüklükteki depremlerde alarm ulaştırılır.

This app can provide you early warning alarm signal almost immediately when an earthquake occurs.

ABOUT US: We are a group of scientist whose work was awarded by Yeditepe University Technology Transfer Office’s competition of “7Tepe, Yeni Fikir” in 2017.

PRINCIPLES OF THE SYSTEM:
When an earthquake occurs, P (primary) and S (secondary) waves moves in all directions. When a P-wave is detected with at least two of the sensor stations installed along the Mudanya-Çınarcık-Adalar-B.Çekmece-Tekirdağ-Şarköy line, the alarm alert will be sent to your phone.

ALARM THRESHOLD:
During an earthquakes, where our algorithms evaluates seismic data as “not dangerous”, the system will not trigger early warning signals.
We do not measure magnitude value of earthquake on the epicenter, but we measure magnitude value on the installation location of the p-wave sensors; and trigger alarm if at least 2 nearest stations measure the earthquake value over 5.1 M (which appr. Equivalent of VI in Marcelli Intensity State).

REQUIREMENTS:
Your phone must have internet connection to get alarm.
