Description

Linx is a fun, addictive game that gets fast and frantic very quickly! Draw "linx" between squares of the same colour/style. Draw the required amount for that level and you advance to the next.

It's not as simple as you think though. In your way are balls that bounce around the screen. Hit a ball with your line while you're drawing it and you lose a life. Take too long to draw a link, and you lose another life. There are also certain combinations of linx that make your line wider for a short time making it harder to avoid the balls.

It's really not all that bad - there are bonuses to be had: squares that count as any colour, bombs that remove other squares, and smart bombs that remove all squares of that colour. You'll also get extra lives, extra seconds for your timer, and you can even remove balls from play. On top of that, an invulnerability mode means you won't lose a life if a ball hits your line, and killer mode lets you remove a ball from the game by hitting it with your line!

It's fun, it's fast, it's Linx!

Excellent gameplay, very little instruction

The gameplay on Linx is great. It does, however, take a while to figure it out as the instructions are somewhat vague. I do find it a bit tacky that the developer left his own high score list in the game; it would be nice if it could be cleared so that the user would be able to keep his or her own scores from the get go. This game is very original and I'm yet to see anything like it. Once you get the hang of the game, it's really quite simple and it does indeed get much more difficult as you move on. It'll keep you busy for a while as there are a lot of levels. The first few might seem easy, but with lots of balls flying around, it quickly becomes more challenging. Overall, an excellent app; I would not hesitate to find another product from this developer in the future.

nice app

This was a good application. It does what it says, so I will avoid a run down of the game play. When drawing lines you must be sure not to exceed the boundaries however, or the line will not stick. At first i though that the app was broken, but it works great. This game is certainly unique, and may create a new genre of game (I think, I have not found a game like it). I found the game play to be quick, fun, but at times repititious. In spite of the latter, it certainly seems as though this game will provide many hours of enjoyment. I found myself playing it for nearly an hour, that seemed more like ten minutes. I believe that this is an app that will stay on my phone.

Pretty Fun Actually

Linx is a pretty good game. It's a simple concept with good graphics, and the game actually gets pretty difficult. Replay value is also good because it's a puzzle style game. Definitely worth the $0.99 if you want a fun, visually appealing game that you can pick up and play for a bit and while waiting at the bus stop or in line.
