UPDATE- Major bug in 1.18 - many times in combat or camp, you cant cast spells, but it uses up spell points - as if silenced - mainly on dungeon floor 5

UPDATE 2 - I am unable to transfer characters from #1 to #2, despite following the tutorial - the webpage just times out - it should be easier to xfer characters - can't both games just access the same backup / data? Or does Apple not allow this?

NOTE - As for the 1hp per level, you can do a backup before you visit the Inn and if you don't like the hp or stat increases, go back and restore from backup and try again - it takes a little extra time, but you CAN get more hp and better stat increases

An almost direct port of Wizardy, but the maps are a bit different (good call). Some minor problems persist, but I am still enjoying it. As with the original Wizardry, you may want to take advantage of the backup / restore feature when levelling up to get a ninja or lord later on. Overall, I can't believe it's free, but maybe it is too similar to Wizardry to avoid legal action if it cost something.

I remember first seeing Wizardry 1 on my friend’s Apple II computer back in the late 70s, and to this day it remains one of my all-time favorite games. I have wanted to re-play it since, and especially on my iPhone/iPad. I’ve been looking for the original, classic Wizardry but it does not exist.

This game is a fantastic clone - the floors are different but so far the gameplay is identical and I believe the monsters are as well.

Looking forward to getting into the depths here...

Love this game. Worth a try. Classic perma-death game.
