Text gets in the way of the paddles

I love the simplicity of this game. Use it more than most. However, one thing has become a real aggrevation. The white text at the bottom of the screen is in the way of the paddles and makes it very difficult to know exactly when to operate the paddles. In addition, the text changes all the time and just when you have a shot the text changes and you loose the visibility you needed. Please fix this. Once that has been done I will increase the rating to 5 stars. Much appreciated.

Add on the top if the entryways change color like on the computer version.
Make missions and upgrades, add smoothness and then it will be perfect. UPDATE PLEASE

Some Features i would like to see in updates:

-Change Color of ball and maybe it color cycles sometimes when you get a combo
-Different Stages (and maybe a way to make your own)
-Option to make trail of ball longer
-If you tilt your iPhone/Ipodtouch you could see the stage in 3D
-PowerUps Example: MultiBall, ForceField below paddles, Lightning ball (Super fast and sets off other bumbers for points)
-A Main Menu, for different modes
-Pause button
