Adequate Informatin

As another user mention this app doesn't go into pages and pages of information which is good for me. For a free app its pretty nice.

This is a web based app and will require the internet. I hope in future update they will offer more herbs and supplements.

I like that the app makes suggestions on different aliments. I look forward to future updates.

better than the rest

I've been looking for an app like this for awhile. Something that I could use on both my iPad and iPhone. There are other apps but they often include *too much* info. I only want the quick overview, not 10 pages of scientific jargon. This app is perfect for that.

Also, I don't know why people are comparing this app to Wikipedia. Of course Wikipedia is going to contain the same information -- it's an encyclopedia! It has everything! That said, the last time I checked, I didn't see a supplement store locator feature on Wikipedia or links to buy the supplement, ect.

Doesn't reference known accurate source data

This app looks good and the organization isn't bad.

The problem is that it provides little info and all the more info links are to Wikipedia. It's likely that's where most of its limited data comes from. This is a bit disturbing as Wikipedia should never be treated as a scholarly source, particularly for health information, as many entries include bias (and sometimes downright inaccurate information).
