SDO Viewer is a simple application for downloading and displaying the latest images taken by the Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO).
It includes push notifications so you can be notified by a badge on the application when new images are available.

Best to failure
For years it was one of the apps I used first thing in the morning and before sleep. Now, a week without any updates has soured my experience. The SoHo app does nice, but doesn’t offer the variety of wavelengths. I hope SDO gets fixed soon.
Have problems on iPhone
The images won’t download when I’m connected to the internet. Both WiFi and LTE.
Same fail as the SOHO app
It won’t open, it just crashes. Please fix it. Thanks
