Description

“The book targets medical students, but even junior anesthesia trainees would find it very compelling . ...Although it has the appearance of a handbook, this book is an overview of clinical anesthesiology. It takes a simulation approach to drive home essential concepts of anesthesia management in different disease conditions. Of all the handy books out there, this is perhaps the only one that teaches anesthesia in the context of real patients rather than merely stating facts. It would be an invaluable aid to medical students doing anesthesia clerkships or junior anesthesia trainees who need a quick review for an emergency case in the middle of the night.”--Doody's Review Service

This free application includes 1 sample case study from the 53 that are available through an in-app purchase of $39.99 of Case Files Anesthesiology. The 53 high-yield cases in Anesthesiology will help you excel on the clerkship and improve your shelf-exam score.

Another money hungry app maker

You only get to read one case without having to pay? Smh let go of your pride and just help some people out trying to learn something. The app is not worth 30 dollars 😡😡

Developer Response ,

So sorry you feel the app is expensive. The pricing is set by the content owner, McGraw-Hill, who employs teams of medical experts to develop this content. It takes years of research to put together the specialized content in this app - this is why the price is high. Since it's medical content, it must be highly vetted to avoid any errors that could result in physical harm to patients. And to be fair to purchasers of the physical books, the price of the app is the same as the price of the physical book.

Nice app it is..

The screen was clear.. And was easier to use it.. Teaches anesthesia in the context of real patients..

Anesthesiology case files

Although the case files are somewhat interesting, the quizes are very basic and irrevelant to even, the novice anesthesia provider. Not worth the money.
