Oh look it's Wednesday. So that means it's time to round up the best games that are on sale on the App Store right now. And looking down my list well, there are a couple of really good games going for cheap right now.

As ever you can click on the emboldened name of a game to download it. And there's one game here that you absolutely should grab if you haven't already, because it's incredible. Ah, but which one?

This one...

A brilliant and entrancing story about a murder. But it's much more than that. A super-quick, super-hard retro blaster that offers a massive challenge to anyone who dares jump into it. It's not the deepest game out there, but it's the sort of experience that, for just 99p, is almost impossible to turn down.

World Cruise Story - £1.99 / $1.99

One of Kairosoft's finest mini-strategy games. This one's all about building up your own cruise ship, as you might be able to tell from the title. There are a bunch of other Kairosoft games on sale at the moment, but we reckon this one might be the best.

A smart puzzle game with a lovely pastel look that's destined to wrap its way inside your head and stay there for a good long while. There's an endless adventure here, and it's the sort of serene, calming experience that the best puzzlers only the best App Store puzzlers manage to pull off.

Goat Simulator - Free

Look, it's ridiculous, it's probably more fun to watch than it is to play, but for free you really can't complain. Lead a manic goat around an open world, doing stupid things and seeing what happens. It'll make you laugh, and since it's not going to cost you anything, that's a pretty good deal.
