Oh look it's Wednesday. So that means it's time to round up the best games that are on sale on the App Store right now. And looking down my list well, there are a couple of really good games going for cheap right now.

A brilliant and entrancing story about a murder. But it's much more than that. Told through video clips that you watch in a disjointed order, this is a tale that twists and turns as you delve deeper into it. It's a game that's tough to explain - you really need to play it though, that much I know for sure.

A super-quick, super-hard retro blaster that offers a massive challenge to anyone who dares jump into it. It's not the deepest game out there, but it's the sort of experience that, for just 99p, is almost impossible to turn down.

World Cruise Story - £1.99 / $1.99

One of Kairosoft's finest mini-strategy games. This one's all about building up your own cruise ship, as you might be able to tell from the title. There are a bunch of other Kairosoft games on sale at the moment, but we reckon this one might be the best.

A smart puzzle game with a lovely pastel look that's destined to wrap its way inside your head and stay there for a good long while. There's an endless adventure here, and it's the sort of serene, calming experience that the best puzzlers only the best App Store puzzlers manage to pull off.

Goat Simulator - Free

Look, it's ridiculous, it's probably more fun to watch than it is to play, but for free you really can't complain. Lead a manic goat around an open world, doing stupid things and seeing what happens. It'll make you laugh, and since it's not going to cost you anything, that's a pretty good deal.
