Oh look it's Wednesday. That's nice. Er, I can't think of anything cynical or funny to say right now, so I'm just going to fill this first paragraph with explanations to that effect. Sound good to you? Cool.

Well Wednesday is when we look at the best games on sale on the App Store at the moment. And so I've done that. I've put them in a list. You can read the list down there.

As usual click on the name of a game to go and buy or download it. This ends the preamble for the list. I hope you enjoy the rest of the content. All the best.

Hyperburner is free!?! Oh cool. But what is it? Well it's a super fast sci-fi racer that looks absolutely gorgeous. Perhaps more importantly it also controls fantastically. And let's be honest, the controls are the most important things in a game. No, really, they are. Thinking an auto-running Wipeout and you're getting there.

Kathy Rain - £2.99 / $2.99

A clever and engaging point and click adventure with a wonderful main character. It's interesting, it's smart, and it looks at things from an angle that a lot of games wouldn't dare. It deals with death, gender, and a whole bunch of stuff as well. Give it a go, you'll love it. Probably.

Incredipede – 99p / 99c

A freakish puzzler that's all about moving a weird creature through a series of obstacles. It's a lot harder than it sounds, and it's a lot of fun as well. It's tough in places, and a little scratchy in others, but for this price it's a banging bargain.

Deep Under The Sky – 99p / 99c

A game about exploding jellyfish. But a lot calmer than that brief statement makes it sound. Essentially it's a zen puzzler set in a gorgeous representation of an alien landscape. The sort of game to play when you're wrapped in a blanket and wondering where everything has gone wrong.

Sine Mora - 99p / 99c

A super slick and super fast shooter that breaks most of the laws of space and time. And it does it in beautiful and bold ways. It's the sort of game that will make you scream with joy and rage at the same time. Which is a good thing, honiest.
