It's Thursday again. I hope you're all well rested and invigorated for the mad dash to the weekend. You've probably got Christmas shopping to do on Saturday. I'm sorry that you have friends and loved ones you have to buy things for, it must be very difficult for you.

If you're thinking about buying them a game for their mobile, well then you're a bit weird. But we've gone right ahead and picked the best one that's come out this week to shower with attention. And hopefully you're going to shower it with attention as well.

You can click the header below to download the game from the App Store. And if you'd like to share your thoughts, feel free to do so in the comments section all the way down there at the bottom of the content.

Reigns: Her Majesty

Put simply, if you loved the original Reigns you're going to love this one even more. The writing is sharper, the ideas are more interesting, and there's a fizz and a bubble to proceedings that makes you want to push deeper into the experience.

You're still swiping cards left and right to make decisions, but this time around you're a queen. Well, you're THE queen. Not that one, the one in the game. You need to balance the esteem that four factions hold you in. Go to far either way and you'll die. Die, and you'll be reincarnated as the next queen and start a new era of rule.

There's much more going on in the game than that, but I don't want to spoil too much for you, since getting to the bottom of the puzzles and mysteries here is half of the fun. I will tell you there's a cat you can stroke though. Who doesn't like stroking cats?

So you're a queen this time?

Yup, and it makes for a much more interesting experience. You're seeing things from a perspective that's often marginalised in digital entertainment, and it's likely to change the way you make your decisions. Don't think this is some tokenism, because it actually adds a whole lot to the game.

And it's premium?

It is indeed. Pay once, get all the nice shiny things you need. There are new cards to unlock, but you do it by discovering things in the game. And that's going to make you push through and finish challenges to find out more about what's going on.

Anything else I should know?

This is the sort of game that everyone should be playing. It's exactly the kind of experience that works on mobile. And on top of that, it's going to make you think. We need more games like Reigns: Her Majesty in this world, and the more people who have a crack at this one, the better.
