The Question

Hello there loyal Appspy readers! It’s another Monday and it is of course time for another question.

We’re approaching the final game release quarter for 2013, and while we have a slew of big releases and likely more than a couple surprises in store before 2014 hits, I’ve become interested in the year in review.

That’s why this week my question is, what is your favourite iOS release of 2013 so far, and why?

I don’t know about the rest of you, but i’ll have to search back through the year’s reviews just to find out what made an impact (of course my lack of memory at the moment may be due to the coffee not taking effect yet).

I’ll be delighted to hear your answers, and will start mulling over my own for when The Answer is published at the end of the week. All the best!

Badland, so far now is one of the greatest games on iOS. And Ridiculous fishing, of course

Badlands without a doubt! You cannot beat that indie feeling of exclusively ios goodness.

My iOS game of the year so far is Super Stickman Golf 2. It's easily the game I spent the most time with, especially in multiplayer mode. Runner ups would be Frozen Synapse and Badland.

I haven't been able to buy/play a lot of games lately so I don't really have an official answer, but I'm super looking forward to eventually getting Year Walk from Simogo. Love the duo and can't wait for Device 6 to come out.

I would throw my vote towards Foursaken's 'Block Fortress'.

Block Fortress gave fans of Minecraft and practically any Tower Defense and FPS a combination game to suit a variety of people. Foursaken Media has also established a pretty good reputation, at least between me and my friends, so it was immediate knowledge that it would be a quality game- as is 'Heroes & Castles' as vragal put out.
