Whether you're taking out Frankenstein's monster, blobs of goo or avoiding those whacky plants Monster Mayhem is full of action and a cute (and yet gory) style that's fun from beginning to end.

Zombies are the least of your problems as the Gate Keeper of a graveyard. In Monster Mayhem by Chillingo you'll face the creatures of the night and their imposingly huge bosses while dispensing round after round of ammunition to stop them from breaking out of your graveyard.
As a weapon-based castle-defense game you're given a broad selection of guns, explosives and even a melee weapon to fend off everything from blobs of slime to Asian hopping zombies. But this is no easy feat to pull off as there are hazards to avoid and weapon immunities to consider. Weapons are selected from a menu at the top of the screen and then enemies can be tapped or slashed at to stop them in their tracks. Aiming weapons isn't completely intuitive, but it doesn't take long to adjust.
Monster Mayhem goes for a cute cartoon stylized design for the monsters that makes you feel almost a sorry that you have to blow them away. One of the game's best features is its clever level design that doesn't just throw more monsters at you and tries to mix things up by adding hazards to test your reactions and aiming skills. 'Endless' and 'Boss Rush' modes round out the game's replayability once you're done with the main campaign.
Game developer Taplay haven't created anything especially new for the castle defense genre, but Monster Mayhem is still an extremely polished and charmingly addictive game that will appeal to casual and hardcore gamers alike.

A must-own! Go buy it now. You will not be disappointed. The graphics are great. The sound is great. Monster Mayhem is a super cool, well designed game that every iPhone, iPod touch and iPad owner should have.
