RPG fans were elated when Beamdog ported the Baldur’s Gate games to mobile, as well as Icewind Dale and Planescape Torment. Those genre classics are now joined by the stand-alone expansion Siege of Dragonspear. Designed 18 years after the original Baldur’s Gate, Siege retains the classic role-playing style with new classes, environments, and stories.

Mechanically, this is still the Baldur’s Gate you know and love: the tactical combat and party management, the extensive stats, the choices and dialogue options. Siege of Dragonspear takes place events of Baldur's Gate and the second game‘s expandion Shadows of Amn, following the northern conquests of the Shining Lady and your quest to confront her. Alongside returning companions and voice cast, as well as new party members to recruit, you can import your existing character or start anether one in the new Shaman class, wielding spirit-based magic and dozens of new items. The Siege of Dragonspear campaign is estimated to nearly 30 hours of gameplay, or even experience the game in Story Mode that removes Game Overs and lets you play solely for the narrative.

Baldur’s Gate: Siege of Dragonspear is available for $9.99 on the App Store and Google Play.
