It's no doubt that when Lucasarts released the special edition of Monkey Island last year it caused quite a sensation. So why wouldn't we expect a second shot at resurrection with the return of the second Monkey Island? According to Kotaku who have heard through...sources; a remastering of the second game is to come out soon, and will include all the new traits encompased in the re-release of Monkey 1. They also mentioned that it may be announced at next weeks Game Developer's Conference and will released on a number of platforms including Xbox 360, PC, iPhone and the PlayStation Network.
