Indie developer We Are Colin recently released a new side scrolling free-runner game with a difference. Unlike similar runners like Canabalt, Gravity Runner requires you to not only jump over obstacles, but change the direction of the force of gravity in mid-flight, allowing the character Collin to drive over obstacles from both above and below. With retro graphics and charming sound effects, Gravity Runner is currently available on the AppStore for the modest launch price of $0.99.

Take control of Colin as he automatically runs through levels filled with pitfalls and spikes. Tap the screen to make Colin jump over obstacles in his world. But this alone won't keep him alive.
