Looks amazing but almost a copy of Nitrome's "Worm Food", it's probably just a popular style of game, though.

Close but just a bit off the mark - The original inspiration comes from the game Death Worm (hence the name of the worm in this game) which led to 'Effing Worms' (found on Kongregate). If you give it a try you'll see how this game has progressed out of those roots, whereas 'Worm Food' took the basic idea and went in a different direction; similar concepts, but different executions :)

I think it was mainly the pixel art style that made me think about Nitrome's version.
