There was a point at which Poker (especially Texas Hold'em) was nigh-on impossible to avoid - but not without good reason... it's a fun game to play, especially with friends. Video games went a long way to provide an experience similar to that of playing with real people, but in many cases it either lacked personality or was intentionally obtuse to add difficulty to the game.

Poker With Bob by Scary Robot strips things back by pitting you against a single opponent, 'Bob', but in a neat twist he has been professionally animated by industry specialist Dustin Adair to not only add life and realism to the character, but to provide a bit of humor as well.

The game's set to launch on Friday the 18th of February and players can expect additional features including local multiplayer and online scoreboards.
