Saturday Morning RPG Brings '80s Nostalgia To the App Store

By , on April 4, 2012

Saturday Morning RPG, a role-playing game inspired by '80s children's cartoons, has launched in New Zealand, meaning it should hit local App Stores at midnight tonight.

The game casts you as Marty Hall, an Everyday Joe who finds himself with magical powers.

Unfortunately, before Marty has a chance to exploit his powers for wealth and influence - and let's face it, we all would - he attracts the attention of dastardly villain Commander Hood.

It's up to you, then, to control Marty in a series of role-playing episodes that see him battling evil and overdosing on '80s nostalgia.

And rocking out the occasional keytar solo.

Saturday Morning RPG should be available to download from your local App Store at midnight tonight, and best of all it's free, free, free.
