Awesome Saucer Beams Down To App Store

By , on July 19, 2011

Piloting a flying saucer into space and blowing up some alien ships is one of life's most exclusive pleasures.

Sadly, we can't all be Will Smith, but Awesome Saucer on iPhone might just be the next best thing.

This spaced-based dogfighter promises "unlimited levels", original music, unlockable weapons, and intuitive controls - including an inverted controls setting if you're so inclined.

The 3D graphics look pretty good, too, as missile trails and spaceship engines fill the screen with neon flair.

And although you can't upload any computer viruses to an alien mothership, Chromium Torpedos and Graviton Missiles mean you probably won't need to anyway.

Awesome Saucer is out now on the App Store. It'll set you back $1.99.
