Update To Physics-Based Puzzler daWindci Floats Onto App Store

For the second time in three months, one of the great masters of the High Renaissance Leonardo da Vinci is about to receive a mention on these pages.

They - whoever they may be - don't call AppSpy the 'most culturally enlightened iPhone site on the planet' for nothing, you know.

With a clear nod to the esteemed Italian polymath, developers Reality Twist have designed a masterfully meditative physics-based puzzler for Apple's mobile by the name of daWindci.

In essence, you must pilot a hot air balloon via the iPhone's multi-touch display through 45 separate levels, searching for valuable items and circumventing electric fields along your expeditions.

Those already seduced by the combination of zen-like gameplay, tricky riddles, and delightful visuals will be overjoyed by news of an update to daWindci.

Those not yet seduced might well be soon.

Included in the daWindci refresh are a bonus world with five new levels, a quintet of extra tunes, and the 'repulsive magnet'.

Float on over to the App Store and grab the latest version of daWindci from the App Store now for $1.99.

Additional Editor's Note (18 Nov.): Along with the mentioned changes the game also features sharper graphics for you lucky iPad 2 users; five new songs to add to the already great soundtrack; and a message system to notify you when a new balloon skin is unlocked. Speaking of the soundtrack we'll be having a give-away thanks to Reality Twist to snag one of ten copies of their soundtrack for free. Keep your eyes peeled for competition details over the weekend!
