Simigo Set Bumpy Road's Wheels In Motion

By Richard Brown, on May 19, 2011

Swedish two-man indie team Simogo made their debut on iPhone with the beautifully drawn arcader Kosmo Spin just before Christmas.

Brilliantly for us – and indeed you - it’s only taken Simon and Magnus five months to follow that AppSpy 4* game up.

Bumpy Road is described by its creators as a ‘love story on four wheels’, with the romantic leads played by an elderly couple in a vintage motor.

By tapping on the touchscreen, you ‘bump’ the side-scrolling senior citizens over platforms, collecting bits and bobs along the voyage.

Game Center leaderboards and achievements are integrated into Bumpy Road, while Retina display support delivers an extra visual sparkle to owners of an iPhone 4 or iPod touch 4G.

The universal app Bumpy Road has been causing quite the proverbial stir on the independent gaming scene in the run-up to release.

See what all the commotion is about now for the sum of $2.99.
