May's Top Games - From the Critics and You

By , on June 6, 2011

So you've seen what we consider to be the best picks for May, but I'm only one man and while I'd love to think AppSpy is the only site you need, I also believe that as a consumer you should be as well informed as possible before making a decision on what to buy next. So, to round out the end of the month lets check out the top games as voted by reviewers and other gamers on the App Store.

Top 10 for May - Sourced from Quality Index
10. Firefly Hero - Alex Blaj (8.4)
9. Bumpy Road - Simogo (8.4)
8. DOFUS: Battles - Ankama (8.5)
7. Tower Defense: Lost Earth - Com2uS (8.5)
6. Order & Chaos Online - Gameloft (8.5)
5. Supermarket Mania 2 - G5 Entertainment (8.7)
4. Jump Out! - Avallon Alliance (8.8)
3. Mighty Fin - Launching Pad Games (8.9)
2. CHAOS RINGS Omega - SQUARE ENIX (9.0)
1. First Touch Soccer - X2 Games (9.2)

One of the best thing about lists like this is realizing just how easy it is to miss some great titles even if you take the time to pick up new releases every day.

For the second month in a row it looks like a Football title has made its way in to the top 5, which I'm sure is bound to make our very own Richard Brown happy to see, but if you need further convincing check out our review of this solid sports title.

If you missed our earlier post, you can check out what other AppSpy readers have been playing over the last month. It seems like the multiplayer update for Infinity Blade has been a winner (which is no surprise), but classics like Tilt To Live are also getting some loving in the month of May.

More reviews will be on their way tomorrow, but until then feel free to check out some of the amazing games that made May such a solid month.
