Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation Shooting Onto iPhone On 27th October

By , on October 18, 2011

No smoke and mirrors this time, guys.

(And no deranged clown puppet inviting you to play some kind of guessing game, either.)

Gameloft have confirmed via Twitter that the next iteration of their first-person shooter series Modern Combat will explode onto iPhone on 27th October.

In Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation, you and up to 11 of your frag-happy buddies can release all of your pent-up frustration across six maps and six game modes in an all-new campaign.

Now, bearing in mind that both of Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation's predecessors received top marks from AppSpy, we're expecting great things from this upcoming sequel.

We can't, unfortunately, tell you how much Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation will cost when it drops next week.

This isn't because we're malevolent rascals - it's because we don't actually know ourselves.

The answer is surely $6.99. However, the better answer is $0.99, to which it will surely drop within the next 6 months, as part of a Groundhog Day sale or something, and at which point I will purchase it.
