Gameloft have slashed the price of its high-octane racer Asphalt 6: Adrenaline from $4.99 to completely free.

The latest entry in the French publisher's street-racing franchise packs over 42 cars and bikes, which can be driven through the game's 11 racing leagues and 55 events.

If you prefer destroying your friends to computer-controlled opponents, you can battle up to five of your buddies in both online and local multiplayer modes.

And, when you've successfully beaten all available opposition, you can even take some time out, visit your garage, and explore your collection of high-powered beasts using your device's gyroscope.
