Madden NFL 12 Shimmies Into iPhone End Zone, Sports A $6.99 Price Tag

By Ryan McGowan, on August 31, 2011

American-football fans, listen up: Madden NFL 12 has just landed on the App Store, and it's carrying a $6.99 price tag.

Now, EA say that it's the "most authentic NFL game franchise on Earth" and "better than ever", but we have a sneaking suspicion that they may be a little bit biased.

So, we're just going to stick to the facts. Madden NFL 12 beefs up the roster, packing in 2,500 NFL players and 32 teams. They're all real, too.

Leaderboards and achievements also make the cut, thanks to EA's new Origin online service.

Aside from that, it's not a radical upgrade, but if your life ambition is to buy a game called 'Madden NFL 12' for iPhone, this may just be the best $6.99 you ever spend!

And considering both of its gridiron predecessors scored touchdowns from the AppSpy review team, it's definitely worth a - cough - punt.
