Bluff Wars - Looking For Backers

By , on June 13, 2012

I'm always on the lookout for creative new games and while it's great to get my hands on an artsy Indie title or an action-packed AAA title, sometimes I like to kick back and relax with something a bit more casual - maybe on the silly side too.

That's why Bluff Wars by FangTooth Games sounds so incredibly appealing - not only are you pitting yourself against your friends, you get to be more than a little bit silly too.

Gameplay is meant to work like this: You and your friends start up a game and everyone is given the same question. Everyone comes up with their best fake answer to the question and once everyone has submitted a reply the game then sends these responses to everyone else, along with the correct answer and an additional bluff. People who choose your answer will result in you being awarded a point, while selecting the correct answer will award you with two points.

The game has a very 'Draw Something' vibe to it and I can't blame the studio for trying to cash in on the social silliness bandwagon - it's a strong one that continues to delight people even months after the initial craze.

If you'd like to help the studio get this game off the ground you can head over to Kickstarter to donate.
