Crazy Taxi skids onto the App Store

By , on October 10, 2012

Sega's Arcade and Dreamcast classic Crazy Taxi should be making its way to an App Store near you anytime soon, bringing with it the smell of burning rubber and the sound of mid-nineties punk rock.

The game, for those of you who haven't played it, is all about delivering fares to their destination before the time runs out, with some point scoring power sliding and insane jumps thrown in for good measure.

It's the latest in an increasingly long line of Sega properties that are making their way onto iOS devices. We've already seen a swathe of Sonic games, but there are more Dreamcast classics on the horizon too, so watch this space.

Crazy Taxi should set you back around $4.99 once it lands on the App Store, and brings with it all the maddening arcade brilliance that fans of the series know and love.
