Rocketcat Games releases a trailer for Punch Quest

By Harry Slater, on October 8, 2012

Rocketcat Games, the developer behind the really rather wonderful Super Quickhook, and the equally wonderful Mage Gauntlet, has released a trailer for its next game, Punch Quest.

The game looks like a homage to the side scrolling beat 'em ups of the 16bit era, complete with rideable dinosaurs and explosive button mashing combos.

There appears to be a decent dollop of humour in the game too, with costume changes and ridiculous enemies all adding to the chortle value of the sprite based brawler. And if Rocketcat's pedigree is anything to go by, we should all be in for a treat.

Punch Quest is sitting in Apple's decision making lap right now, being pawed over by the powers that be to make sure there's nothing subversive or illegal contained within. Until they've finished that and decided you can have a go, why not check out the trailer below.
