Miniclip's Year One Library Of Games Racks Up 50 Million Downloads

By , on October 25, 2011

Flash games specialists Miniclip can safely call their move into mobile gaming a success, with its year one library of iOS titles amassing more than 50 million downloads.

Some of these games - which include iStunt 2 - Snowboard, Gravity Guy, and Fragger - even managed to attract one million downloads per day during their hottest period, thanks in no small part to their presence at the top of the US App Store's free releases chart.

Sergio Varanda, Miniclip's mobile head, had this to say about Miniclip's maiden year on the mobile scene:

We're simply blown away with the success we've achieved in such a short time with our new mobile division. The team we've assembled is world class and will help to continue to drive our incredible mobile growth over 2012 and beyond.

Miniclip's library of titles have faired well under the scrutinous eye of AppSpy, with Fragger earning a perfect 5/5 at review.

Monster Island, iStunt 2 - Snowboard, and Gravity Guy all managed to bag a score of 4/5.
