Madfinger's violent zombie slaughtering FPS is set to receive a spooky update to celebrate that most terrifying of all commercialised holidays, Halloween.

The new update, which is already available on the Google Play Store, adds a new graveyard level to the game, as well as plenty of pumpkin-headed undead for you to murder in various ways.

There's a new weapon to aid you in your undead massacre as well, a crossbow that fires incendiary bolts that spread fire, death, and mayhem wherever they land.

iOS owners should be getting the update pretty soon, and anyone with a Android device powerful enough to run the game should have it already. To whet your appetite in the meantime, here's a spooky trailer to get you in the spooky mood.
