Infinity Blade Dungeons delayed until next year

By , on October 18, 2012

If you've been looking forward to some Infinity Blade style dungeon crawling this year, then we've got bad news for you. According to AllThingsD Epic and Impossible Studio's Diablo aping hack and slasher has been put back until 2013.

“Ever since the talented team at Impossible Studios got their hands on Infinity Blade: Dungeons, they’ve been busy adding their great ideas to the game,” spokesman Wes Phillips told the website.

“There was also the matter of getting the Impossible Studios team up and running with desks, chairs, staplers and computers. The logistics of a new studio and implementing all these great ideas required a little extra time, so Infinity Blade: Dungeons will hit iOS in 2013.”

The game is set to be a departure from the usual Infinity Blade template, letting you roam around cavernous dungeouns slaying creatures with a weighty hammer and collecting loot from their corpses.

If you can't wait until 2013 to sink your teeth into the game, well, sorry, you're going to have to.
