"Have you ever been lost in the forest, and you realise that you are walking in circles? That is a scary and confusing feeling. We have tried to capture that feeling in this game."

Year Walk by Simogo, the developer behind Beat Sneak Bandit, has been on our most wanted list ever since it was first announced. With its creepy, atmospheric trailers and mysterious teases, we could spend hours speculating about the game.

Thankfully it looks like we're not going to have to do that for much longer, because over on the development blog, Simogo has suggested that the game could be out as soon as next month. Year Walk is still wrapped in a veil of secrecy though, with little information about how it plays available, which has made us all the more excited. Throw in a couple of new screenshots and we've reached fever pitch.

The blog post suggests that Year Walk is an adventure game, fuelled by puzzles and secrets, but it doesn't go into any more detail than that. You can expect to play for 2 to 4 hours though, and even more if you want to discover every little secret in the game.

The February release date is a tentative one, and Simogo won't release if they're not ready. Still, if we all cross our fingers, you never know. Stranger things have happened. As it stands though, Year Walk is one of our most anticipated iOS games of 2013.
