It was a busy night for iOS developers at the BAFTA Games Awards, with 4 different games collecting the prestigious awards at a black tie event in London.

The Room came away with Best British Game, New Star Soccer won the Best Sports/Fitness award, SongPop won Best Online, and TellTale's The Walking Dead series captured the awards for Best Mobile & Handheld and Best Story.

All in all it was a successful night for the mobile gaming industry, and it's fair to say that every game that won richly deserved it.

Perhaps next year we'll see iOS gaming getting even more recognition, maybe even a nomination for a mobile only game in the prestigious Game of the Year prize. After all, there have already been some pretty spectacular iOS games this year.
