Badlands gets a release date

Frogmind Games's gorgeous looking physics based sort-of-a-platformer Badlands has been given a release date and a brand new gameplay trailer. You can check out the trailer at the end of the story, and as for the release date you can expect the game at the start of next month.

April the 4th to be precise, which just misses the projected release date we had of “March”, but only by four days, so we guess we can forgive Frogmind. Especially if Badlands plays half as good as it looks.

Described by the dev as a side-scrolling action adventure, the game sees you leading a blob through a variety of traps and hazards. Multiplayer modes are included, which look like frantic races through spikes, bombs, and portals.

You can check out the trailer below to get a better idea of what Badlands is all about, and we'll keep you posted with any more developments as the game's release date draws nearer.

I'm still trying to figure out how much control over the bird that you have. Looks a lot more challenging than the first trailer we saw.
