Jetpack Joyride developer lets you play with its huge snake in Colossatron: Massive World Threat

Jetpack Joyride developer Halfbrick Studios has taken to YouTube to warn us of an incoming threat to our national security.

According the video (below) a giant mechanical snake called Colossatron is tearing up capital cities, laying siege to skyscrapers and soldiers alike with a terrifying arsenal of space-age weaponry.

Luckily for us, this massive metal serpent is merely a character in Halfbrick's lastest iOS project Colossatron: Massive World Threat.

You will take control of the titular snake, and have to conquer earth's military defences while increasing your own firepower. To boost your weapons' capabilities, you need  to reconfigure the snake's modular 'powercores', aligning different colours to create different attacks.

We're always interested to see what the folks behind iOS classics like Jetpack Joyride and Fruit Ninja are working on, and Colossatron looks to be just the right side of utterly mental. It's out in 2014.

I have no idea what you're talking about. That headline is 100% factually accurate. It's all there in the trailer. You must be seeing something that isn't there.

What's wrong with Jetpack Joyride?

Djrella659 4 months, 4 weeks ago

Rather, in this case, Colossatron ?

Nothing! I mistook the "huge snake" for something else. Pretend this never happened.
