Dead Trigger 2's Christmas update adds new missions, nearly doubles the size of the game

It seems like only a couple of weeks ago that I was telling you about the latest Dead Trigger 2 update. Though, admittedly, that's probably because it was only a couple of weeks ago.

However, Madfinger has decided that 50 new missions isn't going to be enough to see you through the apocalyptic hell that is Christmas dinner with your family.

To remedy this, the dev has decided you give you an extra 150 missions via a brand new festive update.

The free expansion, which apparently doubles the size of the game, features new environments located in China. We doubt you'll have much time to admire the splendours of the orient, though, as you'll be too busy blasting through the extended story mode and additional Warfare missions.

If you're more interested in weaponry than sightseeing, then you'll be delighted to hear that the update also brings with it six new zombie-slaying tools, including the Big Hammer, and something called the Brain Mill. We don't know what the latter does, but we're guessing it doesn't make flour.

And, as it is Christmas, you'll also be able to hunt for presents strewn around the blood-streaked battlefield. We're sure Santa would approve.

You can download the Dead Trigger 2 update right now. Incidentally, there will be another update in January, which will add European environments. So, you know, look forward to that.
