Grab your hankies and prepare to have your heart broken all over again: The Walking Dead: Season 2 has just gone live on the App Store.

The first episode in this continuation of the multi award-winning interactive drama reunites us with plucky young survivor Clementine as she tries to find her way through a world ravaged by zombies.

If you've played through the first season of The Walking Dead on iOS, then the decisions you made will carry over into the new narrative, directly affecting the way in which this season's story unfolds.

Expect a review of the first episode very soon. If you just can't wait to find out what has happened to Clementine, then you can download Episode 1 of The Walking Dead: Season 2 on iPhone and iPad for £2.99 / $4.99 right now.

Alternatively, if you want to experience the entire season, then you can buy season ticket multipack for £10.49 / $14.99. Episodes 2-5 are set to be released over the course of 2014.
