The slopes of Rovio's free-to-play kart racer Angry Birds Go! just became a lot more slippery, thanks to the game's new snow-themed Sub Zero episode.

Transforming this colourful racer's dusty tracks into an icy slalom, the update brings coats the latest episode in wintery snow. Just in time for spring. Hooray.

You'll also get access to eight new carts, which can be purchased and customised to suit your driving style. Plus, if you want to save some coins, you can splash out on a starter pack, which gives you a handful of new carts and some bonus swag to boot.

Meanwhile, in the world of physical objects, you can buy more Telepod toys to beam into the game, giving you yet more ways to throw wads of cash into the consumer abyss.

You can download the Sub Zero episode right now.
