If you're a first-person shooter fan, then you've probably been keeping a close eye on the development of Gameloft's guntastic sequel Modern Combat 5.

We've covered the game's new character classes and XP leveling system. We also touched upon the new Squad vs Squad multiplayer mode, which lets you create and customise your very own platoon from your friends list.

However, up until now we've only seen snippets of the game in action. 

Handily, our pals over at Pocket Gamer recently spent a day with the folks at Gameloft, and went hands-on with the game itself. They even had the presence of mind to grab some video evidence of the game in action.

When will this game be released it was supposed to be out last year, I hope this long delay will mean they are making the game really great

I still play MC3 cause I enjoy the game so much and it's so well made for it's time!

Going to have to upgrade the iPhone later this year so I can jump on MC5.
