Play console games on your tablet for free with OnLive today, help sick kids, maybe earn some cool rewards too

By , on October 9, 2014

OnLive is a cloud gaming service where you can play console quality video games on your mobile or tablet. Extra Life is a children's charity that raises money for hospitals across North America.

The two have teamed up to provide a free day of gaming for everyone on October 9th (that's today), to raise money for sick kids.

From 12:01 AM PST / 8:01 AM GMT you have 24 hours access to OnLive's PlayPack, which contains 250+ games from series such as Tomb Raider, Just Cause, The Witcher, Batman, Saints Row and more.

You can play these games on pretty much any halfway decent Android device running Android 3.2 or later, as well as Wikipad, and Nvidia Shield. Alternatively you could play on PC, Mac, OnLive Game System, MadCatz M.O.J.O., Amazon Fire TV or any of the other devices that run OnLive.

If you take part in the fundraising, not only will you feel a deep sense of doing something good in the world, but there are also all sorts of goodies on offer: free months of OnLive gaming, game codes, and hardware.
