Peter Molyneux's controversial F2P god game Godus arrives on Android, both versions receive new social doodads

After a few months of waiting, Godus is now out on Android devices, bringing Peter Molyneux and 22cans' vision of what a modern god game should be to Google Play.

If you somehow missed the original release on iOS (and PC), Godus is a divisive building and management game that asks you to sculpt the land, gain followers, and directly influence the direction of your little populace. Pretty much everyone agrees that it looks the part, but the free-to-play aspects have reportedly put some noses out of line.

This Android version is the very latest build and includes all updates and improvements made to the title thus far, including all the challenges from the Frontier Age. Both this and the iOS version also now have Facebook integration which allows you to populate your land with the names of your real life friends, plus you can explore the lands of your pals and compete with them for time-limited prizes.

Seems like a good opportunity to whip out the interview we did with Mr. Molyneux a little while back, which reveals his thoughts on the development process, as well as showing off the core gameplay of Godus.
