Mighty Dungeons iOS Port
When viewing the trailer of Mighty Dungeons, it starts off looking like a generic iOS RPG, the kind we've seen a hundred times before... but then as you start to watch the gameplay, nostalgia struck me. The way the map is laid out, and the way you travel through it reminds me of days spent playing the board game Hero Quest. This alone makes the game worth a play for me, and it should scratch that dungeon crawler itch for other RPG fans as well. Plasma Sky hits the App Store
If you like your bullet hell shooters to be retro tinged, neon coloured, and full of explosive power ups, then today is your lucky day, because Plasma Sky has blasted its way on to the App Store and it's looking pretty sweet. With eighty levels to blast your way through, the game offers plenty of content, as well as some gorgeous graphics that ape the look of classics such as Geometry Wars. NightSky™ Review
It's amazing how controls can affect a game. Dave played Nightsky on the PC, and while using the arrow keys to move the orb was adequate, there was something lacking, and the whole experience didn't really leave a lasting impression. Badlands gets a release date
Frogmind Games's gorgeous looking physics based sort-of-a-platformer Badlands has been given a release date and a brand new gameplay trailer. You can check out the trailer at the end of the story, and as for the release date you can expect the game at the start of next month. PWN: Combat Hacking slices onto the App Store
PWN: Combat Hacking is a strategy game with a difference. Rather than battling it out over digitally realised terrain with little tanks and soldiers, you're fighting against firewalls and other security in an attempt to break into a secure server. SeeThrough Studios has released a launch trailer for their endless runner-puzzle game mash up Unstoppabot, which hit the App Store earlier in the week. The game mixes logic puzzles with an ever-running robot to create something a bit unique. As you can see in the video we've embedded below the game has a neat looking cartoon style, as well as a wicked sense of humour running throughout.
