Gamevil releases Zombie Gunner
If slaughtering zombies is your cup of tea, then the App Store is likely a favourite haunt. And Gamevil has just added an extra bag to the urn with Zombie Gunner. The game is a side scrolling, cartoon shooter in a similar vein to Metal Slug, and casts you as Andrew, a civilian with a surprisingly impressive arsenal who's out to rescue his daughter from the stinking clutches of the undead horde. Like most of Gamevil's output, Zombie Gunner is free-to-play, meaning you can pick up the app for nothing, but you'll have to pay for certain items or to boost your coffers of currency. Ivy the Kiwi?, Yuji Naka's impressive vine swinging platformer, has finally made its way on to the App Store, bringing with it all of the former head of Sonic Team's design nous and charm. The game is all about guiding a stranded, flightless Kiwi through 50 levels, with the ultimate goal of reuniting her with her mother. Crazy Taxi skids onto the App Store
Sega's Arcade and Dreamcast classic Crazy Taxi should be making its way to an App Store near you anytime soon, bringing with it the smell of burning rubber and the sound of mid-nineties punk rock.
