This is a dangerously addictive game and regardless of whether you’re a baseball fan or not; the game is still worth the current price.

Homerun Battle 3D is a game where players take control of a baseball batter and must hit as many homeruns as they can before the end of each game round. Players are also able to change their characters look and upgrade their gear in order to increase game stats and make hitting homeruns easier.
Balls will be pitched at a small white box just in front of the player. By tilting the iPhone, players can control the angle of their strike and try to match it to the balls final position for a homerun. Players then tap anywhere on the screen to swing at the ball, and hopefully knock it out of the park. The controls take some time to get used to but the learning curve itself certainly isn’t steep.
The 3D visuals look terrific and the amount of detail in the game is quite impressive. Everything from your bat’s wood grain to the cheering fans in the stand can be seen. The sound is great with many well known baseball fanfares and other scoreboard noises, but players are free to use their iPod during gameplay as well. The game boasts a lot of different game options including an online multiplayer mode, solo arcade mode and leaderboard and Facebook score posting.
Homerun Battle 3D is a highly addictive title that fans of Wii Sports – Baseball would enjoy. The polished visuals and sound make for a great gameplay experience and there are a ton of gameplay options to suit any player. There really isn’t much wrong with the game and would make a great addition to any player’s collection.
