Line Up Pro is the latest block matching release by developers LabPixies. This time, players will have to remove 3 or more bricks of the same colour in order to try and keep the game board under control and rack up the highest score possible. Players are given a limit of 100 moves per cycle which means the game is a lot more calculated and requires some thinking if you want to do well.
You remove the blocks by tapping on a group of three or more of the same colour. You can also earn score multipliers based on the amount of blocks removed in a single move. As you progress, the game gets faster and more blocks are dumped on the bottom of the screen, pushing you ever closer to the end of game if the stack of blocks hit the top of the screen.
The visuals are the same as other LabPixies releases, which is a little disappointing, but players have the option to change the appearance of the blocks to suit a preference. The game features some soft sound effects and no music but players are free to use their iPod to fill the void. The game is single player only and players have access to the top 100 leaderboard options.
Line Up Pro is a thoroughly challenging title that fans of games like Flood It Pro may enjoy. The game is simple to play but hard to master, especially in under 100 moves. The game does currently lack a local scoreboard option to check highscores, leaving players to remember any new personal bests. But the game is a well crafted and simple title that anyone can enjoy.
