Flipside is a puzzle game where players must line up and match the symbols on a series of cards by sliding and flipping them. The game requires you to line up three or more cards in order to clear the game board and earn points, however if three or more cards line up with the same symbols on the back of the cards, you will lose points. The game requires some involved thinking and constant adjustment to get the best score possible.

You can flip the card by tapping on them and can also move them into open spaces by dragging them into the appropriate spot. The controls are simple and allow players to concentrate more on the actual placement and rotation of cards rather than trying to remember any advanced controls.

The visuals are quite plain but both sides of the cards can be easily identified. The sound features some bizarre sound effects and voice acting but players are free to use their iPod during gameplay. The game features two single player game modes, a versus computer mode and a Wi-fi multiplayer mode.

Flipside is an interesting game that offers some varied and challenging gameplay. While it may seem a bit confusing at first, once you complete the tutorial mode and play some practise matches, you’ll have no problems in enjoying the available game modes. This is a simple but addictive title that will grow on you in a short time and leave you with a fun and enjoyable puzzle experience.
