MoveMeOut is an average, uninspiring puzzle game that lacks some of the basic mechanics and elements that all puzzle games should have.

MoveMeOut is a sliding puzzle game where players must try to manoeuvre blocks in different puzzles in order to remove the large red block from the board. You’ll need to constantly adjust and shift surrounding blocks in order to clear a path.

Players control block movement by sliding their finger on the screen. With each move, you’ll receive another point towards your move counter. But the game’s move counter gives you a minimum move rate rather than a maximum; which is fine but seems like an unnecessary feature.

The game’s presentation is just about as basic as you can get, but doesn’t detract from the gameplay. There is no game sound but players are free to use their iPod during gameplay. The game consists of 106 different puzzles to play through and while you’ll have plenty to get through, they are all unlocked from the beginning. Leaving players free to choose which levels to play or jump to.

MoveMeOut is a decent puzzle game but because it lacks a real scoring system and players have the freedom to play any level they want, a lot of the playing thrills are taken away. Players are left with a game that doesn’t encourage them to keep playing, which is bad enough but is even worse for puzzle games.
