Ever wanted to glide through the air, dipping and ducking between canyons in a mystical dream world? Eryn, a young girl with a passion for daVinci style flying contraptions, has built herself a nice pair of wings to fly around seven open worlds, collecting gems and trying to unlock the dimensional portals that will hopefully lead her home.

Tilt forward to launch into the air, picking up speed by nose diving, then raise altitude by tilting back, and tilt left and right to turn. Two gauges indicate the speed and altitude, both are kept stable by tilting back and forth, also catch pockets of air to accelerate higher into the sky. Landing on certain platforms activates special mini games which reward additional items. Eryns clothes and wings can also be upgraded by unlocking additional items throughout the game.

The 3D visuals use minimal texture, this together with simple fog and lighting effects adds to the overall minimalist and relaxing feel that the game tries to achieve. The music is calm and enjoyable, with iPod playability optional. The game is single player and there is no score or leaderboard but you are able to view your goals, achievements and statistics by accessing the menu during gameplay.

Glyder 2 is best suited for anyone with the patience for a steady-paced game, and is suitable for those looking to put in some serious gameplay, or just casual enjoyment. Feel free to immerse yourself in the fun of flight, the fantastic sights, relaxing sounds and soothing Zen.
